Datapath Acquires Bright Bear, Advised By Cogent Growth Partners- COVID 19 No Obstacle

A couple of California-based managed service providers didn‘t let the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic stop an acquisition. On July 1, 2020 Datapath closed its acquisition of Irvine, Calif.-based Bright Bear Technology Solutions, ending a year-long journey. The transaction, sourced and advised by Cogent Growth Partners as the buy-side intermediary for Datapath, is the second for Datapath by Cogent in a move to continue building one of the largest MSP and cybersecurity providers in the state.

This is the 4th acquisition Cogent has performed its intermediary work to get closed during the pandemic in the months of May through July 2020. Read further here on the Datapath site.
